J.C. Doler's short film "War Paint" chronicling his fathers time serving as a Marine in the Vietnam War premiered at the world-renowned TriBeCa Film Festival on April 28th, 2019.
Told through a bold reverse-first-person point of view, "War Paint" follows one Marine's journey through the heat and hell of the Vietnam War during the early 1960s.
"War Paint" was written and directed by J.C. Doler who also stars as his father. The film was co-directed by his wife Taylor Bracewell. Cinematography by Alexander Jeffery of Bespoke Works. Post Editing and additional VFX by Aisle7 Post with VFX by Nathaniel Caauwe, color by Company 3 and post sound by Rawly Pickens of Okratron5000.
TriBeCa is a world-renowned film festival founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff.
